The January performances at the Kabuki-za theatre in Tokyo, celebrating the hatsuharu or “early spring”, included performances of classic historical dramas such as Ichijo Ōkura Monogatari and Yoshitsune Senbon Zakura and the celebratory dances Iwau Haru Genroku Hanami Odori
